One for the road!

Well, this is the end. Woo Hoo! I made it through another 10 weeks and it has been great! I have accomplished my 2nd english comp class and my first college algebra class and I think I did rather weel in both. I am sad to see it end, but we have to keep moving ahead to reach the final step to our goal. I wish everyone the best of luck with their future classes and may God bless each and every one of you. Hope to see some familiar faces in my upcoming classes! LOL ! Thanks again Professor Campbell-Hall! You are a wonderful teacher and what I would call "good people". Until we meet again....

The end is closer and closer

It's me again! Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having a great week and having the best of luck with their final drafts. I am still working on mine, but I am hoping to be fininshed by tomorrow evening. I have so much to do because I still have my math final to do which does not even consist of math problems. It consists of writing a paper about what we learned and how we can use it in our chosen profession. That is ths craziest math test I have ever taken! Makes no sense to me, but I have to do it to get the grade. I have really learned a great deal in this english class and I owe it all to Professor Campbell-Hall. She is a wonderful and patient teacher. Thanks Professor! Well, I will go for now. Off to work on my final papers for both classes. Until next time....

Almost finished!

Well everyone, another set of classes are almost over! I am still working on my final paper and boy is it kicking my rear! LOL! I am getting it though, slowly but surely. I had a great deal of revising to do on my paper and I think I am going to have to add more paragraphs as well. My topic is interesting, I just have to figure out how to keep it that way when I am adding more information. My math class is still going strong and I actually have an A in college algerbra! Who knew that Marlane would ever have an A in a math class, let alone algebra! LOL! Basic math is a breeze, but when it comes to the complicated stuff, I am as lost as a goose! It's me again!!!!

Hello all,

Well, another week has gone by and a new one is well underway. I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did absolutely nothing, as usual! LOL My daughter made it through her first week of early headstart and she did great and loves school. She has been singing all of the songs they have learned all week long. I am glad she is back in school because she actually learns and retains what she learns very well. She just made 2 years old in May and she already knows all of her alphabets and numbers 1 thru 10. She is a handful, but a beautiful handful and I love her to death! I have just finished my peer reviews for unit 7 discussion question and I read 2 very interesting papers. They were great and very informative. I hope I did well on mine and had some great feedback from my fellow classmates as well. I hope everyone has a great week and good luck with your papers! Another school week has passed

Well, another school week has passed and we are in week 7 of classes. Only 3 weeks left. It has flown by! I just finished my unit 6 project paper and it was better than I thought. I feel that I did well on it, but I will let my grade lead me on that decision! LOL  I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. I did absolutely nothing! My 2 year old daughter started school yesterday and she loves it. She was able to attend school for a month last school year and she is in the same class and she is adjusting really well. She is a 25 year old in a 2 year old's body! LOL She is something else! I hope everyone has a very good upcoming weekend. Good luck to all and keep up the good work! Until next time....

Halfway there!

Well, I made it halfway through another semester!!! WOOOO HOOOOOOO!!! It has gone by so fast. I really like this English class better than the one I took last semester. It seems easier and less stressful because the professor explains exactly what she wants and does not make me guess as the last professor did. I am enjoying the writing process the second time around. I am glad I took english 1 and english 2 back to back. I think that has made this class a littel easier as well. Labor Day weekend coming up so I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend. Until next time....

Hello all,
I am so new to the blogging society and I really don't know what to say at times. I am off from my job today, so I am playing catch up on schoolwork. My algerbra class is still kicking my butt, but I have a passing grade for now, so that is good news. I hope everyone is doing well in health and in their classes.
